The World Day of Dance is being held for 25 years in major cities in the world. The date chosen to celebrate the day is on April 29, the anniversary of the birth of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727-1810), creator of ballet modern

 

The Cía.R.E.A danza in collaboration with the Área de Juventud del Ayuntamiento de Málaga wanted the city of Málaga join this celebration International.

 

 The place chosen for this celebration was to Plaza de la Constitución.It installed  a international outdoor  in that we  enjoy from representations of performances of dance in charge of known companies and choreographers(Bytedance, Vanesa López, Jóven Ballet de Málaga. R.E.A II, R.E.A danza…)  that we deleitaron with its latest productions. shows and samples of various styles and techniques of dance, African, Hindu, flamenco, contemporary, ballet, dances sports, tango, Argentine folklore, that have occurred throughout the day.

 

This year the world day of dance is dedicated to children and they were also protagonists. There were samples of their work in the Conservatorio Profesional, Centro de Formación Triarte and the escuela de Danza de Lana y Sergei.

 

 

The public was very important in this celebration, we have with different areas or spaces in which will be taught CLASSES and WORKSHOPS from the most varied disciplines of dance: contemporary, salsa, tango, hip hop/funky. Since the smaller to the elderly could  divertirse and learn with professors from high prestige and in the street. The participation in such workshops was massive between. Arriving to count with 150 persons in the popular class of Salsa. French by Pedro Ortega.

 

The reading of the message of the International Day of Dance which this year has been carried out by the dancer and choreographer SaSha Waltz, was read out in different languages: English, French, German, Chinese, Spanish and Dutch. 

 

We can say that this 1 Day of Dance was a success of public, 
                                                                 participation and organization.
